1. Introduction

COPYCRAWLER LLC ("we", "our", or "us") publishes the Videotokitchen, StormScope, and CopyCrawler applications on the Apple App Store and operates this website (collectively, the "Services"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to run the Services. Depending on which app you use:

• Account information. Where an app or website feature offers an account, we collect your name and email address.
• Usage data. Information about how you interact with a Service, including video URLs you submit and recipes generated in Videotokitchen, topics, sources, and scripts created in CopyCrawler, and in-app actions such as screens opened and features used.
• Device information. Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version, used for diagnostics and compatibility.
• Location data. StormScope requests your device's approximate or precise location, only with your permission, solely to display atmospheric conditions and trends for your area. Location is used to deliver the feature and is never sold or used for advertising.
• Contact and support information. If you email us or use a contact form, we store your name, email address, and the content of your message so we can respond.
• Purchase and entitlement data. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements; it processes an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipts. We never receive your payment card details or Apple ID credentials.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial account data, health data, or government-issued identifiers.

StormScope specifics

StormScope is built to run without an account and without advertising. Atmospheric interpretation runs on your device, and readings from the device barometer (on supported iPhone models) are used locally to detect pressure trends. If you opt in to notifications, Apple Push Notification service (APNs) delivers them using an anonymous device token. StormScope Pro is an Apple in-app purchase; entitlement status is all we see.

Data we do NOT collect

• No advertising identifiers, ad networks, or cross-app tracking.
• No sale or sharing of location data with data brokers.
• No contacts, photos, microphone, or health data.
• No account or password is required to use StormScope.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
• Process the video URLs, topics, and sources you submit and generate the resulting recipes, research, or scripts on your behalf.
• Display location-relevant atmospheric information in StormScope.
• Deliver and validate paid features and subscription entitlements.
• Respond to your inquiries, bug reports, and support requests.
• Monitor aggregate usage patterns to improve performance, stability, and user experience.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for cross-app or cross-site advertising. We may share information with:

• Service providers. Vendors that help us operate the Services, such as cloud hosting, AI processing, and subscription management. These parties are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
• Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or a governmental authority, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as a business asset, subject to this policy.

5. Data Retention

Content stored on your device or in your own iCloud account remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a support history. Purchase and entitlement records are retained as long as required to provide paid features and to satisfy legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting info@copycrawler.com.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and the CCPA), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability).

You can also revoke location or other permissions at any time in iOS Settings, and delete in-app content directly in the app. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@copycrawler.com. We will respond within the time period required by applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. Third-Party Services

• Apple. App distribution, in-app purchases, and subscriptions are handled by Apple Inc. under Apple's own privacy policy and Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• RevenueCat. Subscription and entitlement management for our in-app purchases. RevenueCat's privacy policy governs its processing of purchase data.
• Third-party video platforms. Videotokitchen processes links to publicly available videos hosted by platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. We do not host those videos; opening a source video takes you to that platform under its own terms and privacy policy.

Our Services may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and noting the change on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
