Videotokitchen
Video2Kitchen Recipe Saver — paste a cooking video link and get a structured recipe with ingredients, quantities, and ordered steps.
What it does
Found a great dish in a video but no written recipe? Videotokitchen turns a public cooking video into a readable recipe — ingredient list, quantities, and numbered steps — so you can save it, cook at your own pace, and stop scrubbing a timeline with flour on your hands. Every saved recipe links back to the original video so the creator gets the credit.
How it works
- 1. Paste a link. Copy the URL of a publicly available cooking video and paste it into the app, or share it straight from the source app.
- 2. Let it extract. The app reads the publicly available video content and pulls out ingredients, quantities, and the order of the steps.
- 3. Review and edit. Check the result, adjust anything the video left ambiguous, and rename or tag the recipe.
- 4. Save and cook. Keep it in your library and open the cook-friendly view when you're at the counter.
Features
- Video to recipe. Structured ingredient list plus numbered steps from a pasted video link.
- Recipe library. Save, organize, search, and revisit everything you've extracted.
- Cook-friendly view. Large, glanceable step formatting designed for use while your hands are busy.
- Editable results. Fix a quantity, reword a step, or add your own notes before saving.
- Source attribution. Each recipe keeps a link back to the original video, which opens on its own platform.
Who it's for
- • Home cooks who save recipe videos and never cook them
- • Anyone tired of pausing, rewinding, and rewatching to catch a measurement
- • Meal planners who want an ingredient list before they shop
- • People building a personal, searchable cookbook from what they already follow
Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription, offered as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store. Prices are set in the App Store and may vary by region. Purchases are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel in your Apple ID Account Settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled directly by Apple under its own policies.
Good to know
Videotokitchen does not host, store, or redistribute third-party video — opening a source video takes you to the original platform. Extracted recipes are derived from video content and may contain errors or omissions, so always use your own judgment when cooking, including safe food handling, cooking temperatures, and checking ingredients for allergens or dietary needs. Videotokitchen does not provide medical or nutritional advice.
